Lane Arye, Ph.D. has spent more than fourteen years developing, practicing,
playing, and teaching, Unintentional Music and Art. He has taught this
new and exciting work throughout the United States and in Switzerland,
Germany, England, Scotland, Belgium, Holland, Poland and Slovakia.
Lane has helped over a thousand professional and amateur musicians,
singers, dancers, painters, sculptors, actors, performance artists,
writers, poets, and artists of all kinds to become more creative, expressive
and authentic.
Lane has helped many "tone-deaf," "non-musical," and "non-artistic" people
to discover their own unique musical/creative expression and joy.
Using these same ideas, he has led seminars for adults who stutter,
helping them to find meaning in - and sometimes relief from - their
speech difficulties.
In Switzerland Lane teaches regularly at the Conservatory of
Music in Bern. Topics have included:
- Stage Fright
- Unintentional Music
- The Inner Music Teacher
He has also taught at:
- San Francisco School of the Arts
- Tucson Playback Theater
- Swiss Music School Congress
- Youth Music School of Zurich, Switzerland
He has also coached the a capella ensemble, Voxtasy.
Lane is a singer and songwriter who has sung jazz, blues, R&B and originals
in clubs, concerts and festivals in the US and Europe.
He is author of Unintentional Music: Releasing Your Deepest
Creativity (Hampton Roads Publishing Company, 2001).
